Nigerian novelist Ngozi Achebe, pictured, is visiting Vancouver, Canada this weekend as a special guest of the Nigeria-Canada Friendship League (NCFL), the University of British Columbia Awareness Initiative, Africar Canada Television and the Patriotic Vanguard newspaper.
The Nigerian writer will take part in a free event titled: A Dialogue On African Literature at UBC Saturday October 15, 2011 at 6pm. She will also meet with a group of Canadian writers and prominent Nigerians in Vancouver Friday evening.
There will be cultural dances from Vancouver’s African community at the UBC event on Saturday.
