From bomb shelters and basements, Ukrainians are refusing to give up their dreams.

Last week marked the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The war has closed nearly 40% of the country’s universities, however, many Ukrainians are refusing to give up on their dreams of a better future by continuing their education online with UoPeople.

These students are drawn to online studies because they can safely take courses “underground” from anywhere, at any time – even from bomb shelters and basements.

More than 2,100 Ukrainians have enrolled at UoPeople since the start of the war and the university is extremely proud to have provided scholarships to more than 1,700 these students.
