Bonnie Crombie (pictured) is the new Liberal leader in the province of Ontario. She defeated Yasir Naqvi, Nathaniel Erskine-Smith and Ted Tsu. Voting took place November 25 and 26 and the results were announced Saturday December 2.
Crombie was Mayor of Mississauga, the third largest city in Ontario, which is the largest province of Canada. She was also a member of parliament and Mississauga city councillor.
An entrepreneur and politician, Crombie has a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.
" The election is over, now is the time to rally around Bonnie," one Liberal insider told the Patriotic Vanguard.
