The Samuels families in The United States and Freetown, Sierra Leone are mourning the death of their youngest son/brother: Arnold Reginald Balogue Samuels of Congo Town, who died suddenly in Freetown.

He was snatched at the age of 28 years, by the poisoned arrow of death on October 20, 2014. Samuels was a vibrant member of Saint Peters West African Methodist Church, Congo Town, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and member of the Youth Fellowship. He was also a member of the W.A.M. Collegiate School Old Boys Association and played in the school’s Brass Band.

He attended the Institute of Management, Accounting and Tourism College (IMAT) Kingtom campus. Arnold was a member of the Information Technology Society and holds certificates in Business Administration, Software Application and IT Core Networking. He played in the Seven Stars dance band, made up mostly of blind musicians. He was the band’s engineer.

Death has punctured the conjoined Cathedral of our heart and soul, leaving an invisible scar tissue that will endure a lifetime. Sleep on Arnold, sleep and take your deserved rest, as you are cuddled in the arms of Jesus, throughout eternity.
