A woman who has been accused of allegedly trafficking a child is standing trial at the Freetown Magistrate court presided over by Mr, Shyllon.

Testifying in court recently, the child said she recalled sometime this year when the accused (Sinah Fofanah) asked her to do some work.

She said she was staying with her grand mother. The girl, who claimed to be a pupil, alleged that the accused on April 9 asked her to collect a bucket for her. She said Sinah told her that she should also pack her belongings and informed her that they would be travelling.

The girl said they boarded a vehicle and she was taken to a destination very strange to her. She said she felt sick. She recalled that policemen later went to the house where she was kept and rescued her. The trial continues.
