The Prosecutor vs. Issa Hassan Sesay, Morris Kallon and Augustine Gbao (the RUF accused).
2 May: A Status Conference will take place on Wednesday, 2 May at 10:00 in Courtroom 1.
3 May: The Defence will open their case on Thursday, 3 May at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 1. Following opening arguments, First Accused Issa Sesay will testify on his own behalf.
THE HAGUE
The Prosecutor vs. Charles Ghankay Taylor.
7 May: A Pre-Trial Conference will take place on Monday, 7 May in Courtroom 1 of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is scheduled to run until 4:00 p.m. with the possibility that, if necessary, it may be continued on May 8.
4 June: In a decision issued on April 25, the Trial Chamber confirmed that opening arguments in the Taylor trial will take place on 4 June. There will then be an adjournment of 18 calendar days, with the Prosecution case resuming on June 25. The complete decision is posted on the Special Court’s website, www.sc-sl.org
