The Prime Minister of Guinea, Mohamed Beavogui (fourth from right in photo), on Wednesday visited the main market of Madina in Matam, Conakry.
Prime Minister Beavogui went out into the streets to see things for himself and to ensure the stability of the prices of essential commodities.
According to a release from the office of the the Prime Minister, he was accompanied by the minister of Commerce, the Budget minister and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts.
Mohamed Beavogui went around some shops to check the availability of rice, flour, sugar, oil and onions.
Beavogui is the civilian head of government of the current military junta in Guinea led by Colonel Mamady Doumbuya.
