The People’s Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC), a newly registered Sierra Leonean political party for the 2007 elections, has gathered huge support from amongst members of the Sierra Leonean Diaspora Community based in the Netherlands.
The PMDC-The Netherlands Branch has been formed recently, with the official mandate and blessings from the headquarters in Freetown, and its leader Mr. Charles Francis Margai.
However, the founding fathers are yet to put in place a working executive structure for their own branch. One of the members of the new branch, madam Kaday Bangura told the Vanguard:
“ An appointed committee are already busy going through the PMDC constitution. This exercise will enable them to write our own operational guiding principles, which should be similar if not the same to that of the doctrines of our party.”
