President Ernest Bockarie Foh has appointed veteran APC politician Victor Bockarie Foh (seen on the left in photo with President Koroma) as the country’s new Vice President.
Victor Foh, who, until today’s appointment, has been Ambassador to China, is one of the prominent leaders in the ruling party to hail from the south of the country.
Foh, a seasoned political strategist and grassroots politician, was the party’s Secretary-General before his appointment as Vice President.
He has been an unflinching and unwavering loyalist to the party for decades.

THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS HEREBY INFORMED THAT FOLLOWING THE VACANCY WHICH OCCURRED IN THE OFFICE OF VICE-PRESIDENT, AND PURSUANT TO SECTION 54 (5) OF THE CONSTITUTION OF SIERRA LEONE 1991 (ACT NO. 6 OF 1991), IT HAS PLEASED HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT TO APPOINT MR. VICTOR BOCKARIE FOH AS VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
