By Kade Camara, Managing Director, Guinea National Tourist Board
Last night (Saturday) saw the recognition of the physical and intellectual beauty of Guinean women through the final moments of the Miss Guinea competition, under the patronage of Mrs Lauriane Doumbouya, First Lady of the Republic of Guinea.
This competition, which brought together 24 young girls full of ambition, was the culmination of a year’s hard work, perseverance and resilience on the part of the candidates and the members of COOMISGUI, which is why it was important for the National Tourist Board to support this wonderful initiative, which remains a major event in the promotion of Destination Guinea.
On my own behalf, I would like to warmly congratulate the various candidates for their team spirit throughout the competition, as well as COOMISGUI for the quality of the organisation of this wonderful evening.
