Under the Leadership of President Bio, Yoni Mamaela Chiefdom in the Tonkolili District is set to have a state of the art factory that would be constructed by Miro Forestry Agricultural Company.
The owners will be transforming agricultural raw materials into finished goods for market consumption. Hundreds of jobs would be created and the local economy will boom.
In a separate development, the Indian investor was granted a honorary Section Chief title signifying that he is highly welcome to do business with the people.
The ministries of Trade and Agriculture were involved in the project. Paramount Chief Kondoh of Yoni Chiefdom, Resident Minister North Abu Abu (photo) , Ahmed Shaybum Kanu and the people of Tonkolili district were at the formal ceremong in the presentation of the factory executives to the people.
