Charles Margai, the new Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Sierra Leone took the oath of office before President Julius Maada Bio early this week at State House in Freetown.
Speaking in Krio, the most commonly spoken local language in Sierra Leone, Margai said he was he was going to make sure that justice is available to all Sierra Leoneans and non-Sierra Leoneans alike in a fair manner.
Reacting to rumours that he is going to crack down on some people he said those rumours are untrue. All he and his staff will be doing is to apply
the law, he explained. There will be no witch hunt, he promised.
