APC’s Victor Foh visits Liberia

The national Secretary General of the ruling party in Sierra Leone, the All People’s Congress (APC) Mr. Victor Bockarie Foh and his wife would be visiting the Republic of Liberia from Saturday 7th August to Friday 14th August, 2010.

The Secretary General and entourage would be received by Sierra Leone Embassy Officials and party loyalists at the Mano River Union border on Saturday.

Whilst in Liberia, Foh (top photo) and entourage are expected to meet with Liberian government officials, the Sierra Leone community and APC members. Foh and his wife Mrs. Junta Foh who is also member and adviser to the APC women’s wing would among other things inform party members on the proposed anniversary celebration of the APC’s 50th year slated for 11th September this year.

Also, Foh, according to a memorandum from the party head quarters in Freetown, would highlight activities for Sierra Leone’s 50th Anniversary on 27th April 2011.

Mr. Foh’s visit would also see him representing the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma at the United Methodist University in Monrovia, on the occasion of the award of honorary a doctorate (Doctor of Philosophy) on Ambassador Rev. Mrs. Marie Jilo Barnett, the first female Ambassador to achieve this singular honour in the Ernest Koroma regime.
