Afri-Can Magazine is Ready!

The first edition of Afri-Can Magazine, the sister publication of the Patriotic Vanguard is now on the news stands in Vancouver and will be soon distributed in the rest of Canada, the USA and other parts of the world.

Published by the Afri-Can Media Foundation ( also publisher of the Patriotic Vanguard), Afri-Can Magazine (see photo) is a pan-africanist publication targeted at the African diaspora.

It’s a 20-page monthly treat dealing with news and events in and among the African diaspora including, views and opinions on issues affecting this global community.The current issue contains interviews and news reports on African entrepreneurs in the diaspora and burning issues affecting African communities abroad.

It will be distributed in Canada by editor and publisher Gibril Koroma ( Vancouver), Abdulai Bayraytay and Zubairu Wai (Toronto), Sahr Musa Yamba (Winnipeg),Abayomi Charles Roberts(Edmonton)and Kofi Akosa-Sarpong (Ottawa).

The US distributor is Bureau Chief Alpha Lebbie, alias Fonz (Boston, Massachussets), in Europe, Abu Shaw(London), Teddy Foday-Musa (Holland)and Mohamed Boye Jalloh-Jamboria (Norway). The Australia distributor is Tony Bee Conteh (Sydney). In Sierra Leone Bureau Chief Alpha Jalloh and Jonathan Leigh will do the distribution.

You can subscribe to Afri-Can for just 34 Canadian dollars a year (12 issues). At the moment you can pay by money order or paypal.If you live outside Canada please add 3 dollars for postage.
