Sierra Leonean football superstar Lamin Conteh, alias Junior Tumbu, was buried today at the Kissy Road cemetery in Freetown.
Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, members of the Sierra Leone Football Association executive and dozens of football lovers were present.
Tumbu, who played for both local and foreign clubs, was a great dribbler and attacker that inspired thousands of young football players in the country.
Tumbu died a few weeks ago in Kenema, capital of the eastern region of Sierra Leone, where he was coaching a local football club.
Thousands of mourners accompanied the body to the cemetery. See video below:
