It is possible that Toronto might have a black mayor soon if you look at the number black candidates that have presented themselves after the resignation of the hugely popular former mayor, John Tory. Yes, there are several candidates from the white, asian and hispanic communities with very strong support but you never know, politics can be very unpredictable.
