Ode To My New Love, Nyapo
By Mohamed Konuwa-Tiello, The Netherlands.
My heart continues to beat after having seen you
The beauty I envisaged was the one I got when I met you
For the first time
Your skin is so tender like a leaf when
the dew first touches it in the morning
Your bodily movement melted my hardened soul.
Nyapo, I want to know every part of you
in order to quench my thirst for your love
From the bottom of my heart I pledge my love and heart
over and again to you
because you are the perfect thief of my heart.
There is no judge in earthly heaven that can and will
sentence you for that perfect love crime
Only my love for you can judge how my heart ponders
when you are not there by my side
so that I will whisper into your ears and say
"I LIKE THE WAY YOU STOLE MY HEART"
All the days of our life, our love shall grow from a bud to
a bigger
FREETOWN COTTON TREE
That will protect us from the sun and rain.
